Position Papers

POAO endeavors to speak with credibility towards emerging criminal justice issues and will provide more general information regarding these identified issues through the use of position papers. In promoting and asserting a position POAO will first speak with membership regarding the direct impact of this concern in relation to the role and work of Probation and Parole Officers and Probation Officers. POAO will then research the particular issue and then, when necessary, consult with Ministry or community partners, as a means to best speak to this issue through the use of position papers.
